Fred Carl should swear off the voodoo economics Kool-Aid
To the editor:
While I used to believe that a letter to the editor signaled the onset of mental illness, I have modified that stance after sending a few of my own.
However, after reading quite a few diatribes by Mr. Fred Carl, I feel compelled to modify my stance further.
At first blush, a barrage of letters to the editor on the same subject certainly qualifies as the rantings and ravings of a lunatic but I, being of sound mind and sufficiently shallow intellect, have studied the matter and concluded that Mr. Carl suffers from "Kool-Aid Dementia", brought on by ingesting too much of the elixir over the last thirty years. While not fatal, it is seldom reversible.
I do have some hope for those who have sworn off the "Kool-Aid" and with increasing mental clarity are discovering that the thirty year experiment in "Voodoo-Economics" has been a miserable failure. "Morning in America" indeed!
