Missoula seeks volunteers for county boards

Missoula County commissioners are seeking applicants for the Marijuana Initiative Oversight Committee and the Lolo Community Council.
MARIJUANA INITIATIVE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE – Pursuant to Initiative 2006-02, “Alter Law Enforcement Priorities and Make Adult Marijuana Offenses the Lowest Law Enforcement Priority in Missoula County”.
Four (4) terms expire in February, 2010; these members are eligible for reappointment to new two-year terms. The County Commissioners are soliciting interested applicants for the following positions:
1 County Resident
1 Criminal Defense Attorney
1 Civil Liberties Advocate
1 Criminal Defense Attorney
This is a self-governing Committee.
LOLO COMMUNITY COUNCIL
One individual is needed immediately to fill an unexpired term until Special District Elections are held in May of 2010.
The Lolo Community Council acts as a liaison between the citizens of Lolo and the BCC and provides info deemed useful, beneficial and helpful to the County Commissioners in making decisions which affect the Lolo community.
