The Ninemile Wildlife Workgroups hosts its first annual community potluck and party Sunday Aug. 9 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the Ninemile Community Center, 25620 Nine Mile Road. Bring your friends and family; a tasty treat to share if you can, and enjoy great company, tasty food, prize drawings, kids games, and fun presentations!
Due to unfavorable weather conditions, seal/cover and striping work on Adams Street and Railroad Street from the Petty Creek interchange to the I-90 interchange has been extended to August 14. Traffic will continue to be limited to one lane. LS Jensen apologizes for the inconvenience and appreciates your understanding and cooperation.
Help us raise $10,000 to purchase a K9 drug dog for the Mineral County Sheriff's Office to help stop drug transportation and deter drug use. The money will be used for purchase, certification and training. Please send your checks no matter how large or small to the "K9 Fund" c/o Bob Mahon 3958 Diamond Match Road, Superior MT 59872.
