Missoula County encourages online vehicle registration
by Anne Hughes
The Missoula County Motor Vehicle Office encourages anyone registering or renewing the registration on their vehicle to do so online. The state’s new motor vehicle registration system, called MERLIN, continues to present challenges and lengthen lines at the Missoula County Courthouse.
“We don’t want customers to have to wait in line. We want them to be able to avoid the lines and enjoy their summer,” says Kim Seeberger, Missoula County’s Chief Deputy Treasurer.
Accessing http://app.mt.gov/vrr/renewal gives citizens the opportunity to avoid a trip to the courthouse altogether.
Anyone who needs to title a new vehicle still needs to visit the courthouse, but can reduce their time in line by calling ahead and making an appointment. Call (406) 258-4747 to schedule your visit.
