A public meeting will be held Tuesday, June 2, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the St. Regis School to discuss the Lolo National Forest ownership of nearly 30 miles of the “Route of the Hiawatha.” If people are interested, a collaborative group will be invited to work with the Forest Service to create a proposal on managing this outstanding historic and recreational resource.
