Six local students named on MSU honor rolls

Montana State University has announced its undergraduate honor rolls for spring semester 2009.

Danielle Herbst of Huson was among 403 students with a perfect 4.0 grade point average who were named to the President's Honor Roll.

The Dean's Honor Roll includes 1,991 students earning grade point averages of 3.5 or above for the semester, including five students from Chronicle Country: Caleb Acker (Alberton), Tabitha Alger (Huson), Allyson Briscoe (Alberton), Morgan Jones (Frenchtown), and Mary Elaine Nichols (Superior).

Students must have enrolled for at least 12 credit hours during the semester to be eligible for the honor rolls. Also, many students provide the university with their local Bozeman address instead of their Montana hometown address; these local students may appear on the Bozeman/Belgrade lists.

The entire MSU spring 2009 honor roll list is posted at: http://www.montana.edu/cpa/news/nwvie...ticle=7238 .
