Tuesday May 5 is election day for special district elections. Three candidates are seeking two positions on the Frenchtown Fire Board. For information about voting, contact your Missoula County or Mineral County elections officials.
The 33rd Annual St. Regis Flea Market -- Montana's largest -- will be May 23, 24 and 25 at the St. Regis Community Park. Daylight to Dusk, Take Exit 33 off I-90. There will be 150 Vendors with great bargains. Concessions will include breakfast, lunch and dinner. The event is sponsored by the St. Regis Community Council and all proceeds benefit the community of St. Regis. For vendor space or more information contact Leslie Garber 649-2081.
Mineral County Community Food Bank is open from 10:00 a.m. - noon and 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. every Friday.
The Bitterroot Resource Conservation and Development group meets every first Monday from 10 a.m. to noon in the County Commissioner's Office in Superior. The next meeting is scheduled to be held May 4, 2009.
The Ninemile Wildlife Workgroup meets the first Tuesday of each month, 7 p.m., at the Ninemile Ranger Station's Visitor Center. Residents of Ninemile, Sixmile, Huson and Petty Creek are especially welcome to join us in our efforts to maintain the historic and regionally important Ninemile Wildlife Corridor which overlays these areas.
