Radio Montana play broadcasts in Superior
by Kelsey Ray
Mineral County Performing Arts Council’s latest performance was a Vigilante Theater Co. play called Radio Montana. Zena Dell Lowe, Mike Ryan, Rhonda Smith, and John Hosking starred in this A.M. radio talk show play.

Vigilante Theater Co. has performed in 125 towns across Montana. All of the actors in the play study theater, and some even write screenplays. This season was Mike and Zena’s first season touring with the VTC. They say that they love going around to the small towns because supporting theater and preserving the arts is a big deal to them.
“For some towns, the attendees have never even seen a play before, until we come in and they come back every time we visit their towns.”
The Vigilante Theater Co.’s mission is ultimately to go to towns around Montana where there isn’t much culture and to restore the communities’ love for the arts.
All of the actors loved coming to Superior and they hope to come back again.
The Lori Conner Jazz quartet will be the MCPAC’s next performance on January 24th. For more information on MCPAC or performance information, please call Monica Ray, President of the Mineral County Performing Arts Council, 544-3098 or go to mineralcountyarts.org
