DUE: JULY 18, 2008
MINERAL COUNTY PERSONAL PROPERTY TAXES (EQUIPMENT, MACHINERY, ETC.)
Payment is due and payable before 5 p.m. If taxes become delinquent, interest is 5/6 of 1% per month plus a penalty of 2%. If payment is sent through the mail, please enclose the coupons OR note the Tax Payer ID number on your payment. Since there are no return-receipts, your stamped coupons may be returned, if you provide a self-addressed stamped envelope.
Payment can be made Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM- 5:00 PM, at the Mineral County Treasurer's Office at the Courthouse in Superior.
Please use your coupons when paying your taxes to expedite the process for everyone.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED that the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services, Child and Family Services Division (CFS), 305 W. Main, Superior, Montana 59872, has filed a Petition to Terminate the Parents’ Rights and Award CFS Permanent Legal Custody with the Right to Consent to Adoption; Now, Therefore,
YOU ARE HEREBY CITED AND DIRECTED to appear on the 27th day of August, 2008 at 10:00 o’clock a.m. at the Courtroom of the above entitled Court at the Courthouse, 300 River St., Superior, Mineral County, Montana, then and there to show cause, if any you may have, why your parental rights to A.O. should not be terminated; and why the Petition should not be granted.

Your failure to appear at the hearing constitutes a denial of your interest in custody of the youths, which denial will result, without further notice of this proceeding or any subsequent proceeding, in judgment by default being entered for the relief requested in the Petition.

The Town of Alberton is accepting comments on the Mineral County Planning Board’s recommended Growth Policy. The Growth Policy can be viewed at co.mineral.mt.us/Forms.aspx. Please send written comments to the Town of Alberton PO Box 115, Alberton MT 59866 by July 31, 2008. The Alberton Town Council will hold a public hearing regarding the adoption of the Growth Policy on August 5, 2008, at 7:00 PM. If you have questions, please contact Diane at the Town Office.
