NOTICE OF HEARING - CREATING A COMMUNITY COUNCIL IN THE WESTERN PORTION OF MISSOULA COUNTY
The Missoula Board of County Commissioners will conduct a Public Hearing on:
1. A proposal that the County place before the voters in precincts 34, 35, 36, 37, and 38 on the November 4, 2008 General Election ballot, the question of creating the West Valley Community Council that covers the western portion of the County including the Frenchtown, Huson, Six Mile, and Nine Mile areas; and
2. The number of members of the proposed council; and
3. Whether interim members will be appointed by the Commissioners prior to the next available election date.
The Commissioners will conduct the hearing at their regularly scheduled Public Meeting on Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at 1:30 p.m., in Room 201 of the Missoula County Courthouse Annex.
Any person wishing to be heard on the matter may submit written or other materials to the Commissioners and/or speak at the hearing. NOTICE OF TAX SALE OF PROPERTY TAX LIEN FOR TAX YEAR 2007
(PURSUANT TO 15-17-122, MCA)
Notice is hereby given that delinquent property taxes for tax year 2007 including penalties, interest and costs, are a lien upon the property and unless paid prior to the time of the tax sale, the lien will be offered for sale.
The sale will take place on July 16, 2008, from 8 am to 5 pm at the Mineral County Courthouse, 300 River Street, Superior, Montana.
A list of each property on which the taxes are delinquent is on file in the County Treasurer's Office and open to inspection.
Prior to paying delinquent taxes, penalties, interests, and costs, person shall send notice of the proposed payment, by certified mail, to the person to whom the property was assessed and mailed at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the payment and shall provide proof of the mailing.
A tax deed cannot be issued before 36 months from date of the tax sale unless subdivided with delinquent RSID's & no habitable dwelling or commercial structure is 24 months.

The project consists of preparing 7 undeveloped residential building lots in the townsite of St. Regis for the construction/installation of residential housing units. Work consists of site grading, alley graveling, drilling and plumbing of 6 water wells, installation of 7 water services, installation of 7 sewer services, installation of 2 storm drain sumps, construction of 7 carports, and construction concrete parking aprons.

The hearing will be held at 1:30 PM in the Commissioner’s Conference
Room located in the Courthouse Annex, 300 River Street, Superior.
The proposed Elk View Estates Subdivision a 15 lot major subdivision located approximately 5.25 miles northwest of Superior off T-Bird Lane. All proposed lots are single family residential with individual septic systems and wells. The developers, Ernest and Deloris Eggler, of Elk View Estates desire to have reconsideration for the requirement for paving prior to final plat approval. Reconsideration for the proposed 10,000 gallon water storage tank for fire suppression is requested.
