The ninth annual Old Schoolhouse Rock Car Show will be held on the lawn of the Old School in Superior, June 6-7. Registration begins at 3 p.m. on June 6 and 8 a.m. on June 7. There will be a roasted pig dinner on Saturday starting at 5 p.m. in the gym, free to car registrants and $8 to the general public.

Silent Auction Benefit for Alija, Saturday, June 7, noon to 4 p.m. at the Masonic Temple Building in Superior. The drawings will be held at 4 p.m. Please pick up items by 5:30 p.m. Everyone welcome, sponsored by Friends of Alija. For more information call Carla at 822-4251.

Sylvia Bookout Reinicke is hosting a $100-per-plate fundraising dinner for Roy Brown at her home near Alberton Friday, June 13, at 7 p.m. Food will be home cooked and very tasty, as Sylvia is known to be a good cook, and there is room for 30 people.
