Fire Training Basic Refresher training TR-130 will be offered on March 29 and April 12. The pack test will be offered at the same time. You must bring your own pack weighing 45 pounds. The Mineral County Medical Foundation will sponsor its second annual spring auction April 26. Last year’s event was both fun and profitable— it helped us meet the matching funds requirement to purchase the Picture Archiving and Retrieval System (PACS). We will accept donations the week before the event and we can arrange pickup if needed. The Ninemile Wildlife Workgroup will host its monthly “Celebrate Wildlife” presentation on Tuesday, April 1 at 7 p.m. Wildlife rehabilitator Kate Davis of Raptors of the Rockies will be accompanied by live raptors. Kindergarten Round-up at Superior Elementary School will be held on Wednesday, April 2 from 8:30 am – 12:00 pm. Children eligible for Kindergarten must be five (5) years of age as of September 10. Parents/guardians must bring their child’s state issued birth certificate, current immunization record and social security card with them to the Round-up. Mineral County’s First Annual Home Tour, showcasing the building industry, new construction, and local businesses, will be held Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Maps are available at the starting point, Superior Color & Lumber, 213 Mullan Rd., Superior.
