Notice is hereby given that Thursday the 21st day of February, 2008, at 5:00 p.m., is the final date for filing Declaration of Nomination for special districts. The Election will be held on Tuesday, the 6th of May, 2008. Dated this 28th day of January, 2008, at Superior, Montana.
Declaration of nomination forms are available at the Mineral County Clerk and Recorders office, Courthouse, Superior, Montana.

PUBLIC HEARING
The Mineral County Planning Board will hold a public hearing on February 20, 2008 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the old school in DeBorgia. The meeting is intended to receive public comment on the proposed Growth Policy for Mineral County and the Towns of Alberton and Superior. The residents of in and around DeBorgia, (Cabin City), Haugan and Saltese areas are invited to attend and participate. A draft of the proposed growth policy is available on the internet at co.mineral.mt /Forms.aspx. The draft growth policy has three parts with recommended changes noted in bold print. Written comments may be mailed to Mineral County Environmental Health and Planning, PO Box 396, Superior, MT 59872.

MINERAL COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC HEARING FOR TAMARACK CREEK MINOR SUBDIVISION FEBRUARY 20, 2008
The hearing will be held at 11:00 PM in the Commissioner's Conference Room located in the Courthouse Annex, 300 River Street, Superior.
The proposed development is a two-lot minor subdivision located approximately 0.50 miles north of the junction of Montana Highway 135 and Tamarack Creek Road. Both lots proposed are single family residential with existing houses, septic systems and wells. It is proposed that Lot two drill a new well. The owners of the proposed development are Randy and Shauna Firestone.
